Steve has been a
Professional DJ for over 34 years, during which time, he has played at many
different clubs around the North of England playing along side DJ's such as
Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Mike Pickering, DJ Sy, Dave Angel,
Rob Tissera, Tony Walker, K-Klass, Ann Savage and many more.
He was a true favourite as
the Resident DJ at “The Gallery” in his hometown of Leeds from 1987 until 1995
(Voted 2nd Best Club in Europe by Mixmag in 1992). He has also
played guest slots at “Life” at Bowlers, Manchester, “Galactica” at York
Racecourse, “Love Leeds Festival 2006”, “Joy” at Mission, Leeds and “Funky Dory”
at Space, Leeds.
Along the way, Steve has had
his own show on Local Radio Station Dream FM and also had regular guest slots on
Kiss 105 (Leeds) and Galaxy 105 (Yorkshire).
Steve’s love
of underground dance music ranges from Northern Soul, Motwon, Soul, Funk &
R’n’B and early Hip-Hop right through the dance music era to today’s trends of
Funky Electro House, US Garage and Breaks. Steve can be found playing most of
these styles including Old Skool House and Retro Rave throughout the North of
England today. He is also the Manager of Relflex DJ Store in Leeds, West
Yorkshire.
